@Peter_pbn

Bande à part (1964) has at least two memorable, influential scenes that were copied in modern films.

Bande à part (1964)

Dreamers (2003)

Bande à part (1964)

Pulp Fiction (1994)

I have watched so many films set in Paris that I do not pay attention to it anymore.

The last time a film set in Paris moved me because of its setting it was Le navire Night of Marguerite Duras. There are many shots of Paris in the film, but not many on IMDB Here is one, from the trailer, and not yet in the photo gallery.

Le Navire Night

Le navire Night (1979)

Otherwise, I remember the last scene of The Devil, Probably (1977)

I think it was shot in the cemetery of the Père Lachaise.

You could also add the Paris of the 1400s as seen in Jeanne La Pucelle by Jacques Rivette. But, I am unable to find images of the Siege of Paris.

Other than that, a couple of Audrey Hepburn's films are set in Paris. For example, Sabrina.

Other than that:

Army of Shadows

Children of Paradise.

Midnight in Paris

Paris, 13th District

There a far too many films set in Paris. It is one of the most filmed city of all time. You could make a poll with only shots of the Eiffel Tower or the Arc de Triomphe.

@Maxence_G

I always wondered what Google map would look like if I only included places I had seen in films. I'd like to make a list of those places one day. I could even include all the places described in books I have read. That way, I could recreate my mental map of the earth.

My mental map of Paris, for example, is only constituted of bits of images I have seen in films or pictures. It'd be cool to have a precise idea of what that map is and what percentage of Paris is actually represented by it.
