FYI, she didn't receive an Emmy nomination, the TV movie she was in did. But, she certainly has done a lot for someone under forty. I think the focus should be on her long list of quality film and television credits.

Gugu Mbatha-Raw turns 40 on April 21, 2023. The British actress first came to prominence in her breakout role in the television series "Doctor Who" in 2007. The classically trained actress hasn't stopped since starring in a number of high profile and critically-acclaimed movies, such as 'Larry Crowne', ' Miss Sloane', 'Beyond the Lights', and 'Beauty and the Beast', as well as, notable television series, such as "Black Mirror", "Loki", "The Morning Show", and "MI-5", to name a few. She has progressed from rising star to an established two-decade veteran actress with versatile performances in film, television, and theater. Her awards include a BAFTA EE Rising Star Award nomination and a British Independent Film Best Actress win for the title role in 'Belle' among other recognition for her work. In 2017, she was appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) by Queen Elizabeth II for her services to drama.
