I voted for the King of Saxony Bird-of-paradise. At first I thought it was a hoax, so I looked it up afterward. The black semicircle looks like photo manipulation, but it actually comes from the bird’s feathers being so ultra-black that they absorb an enormous amount of light. Fascinating on the one hand — and on the other, the “little monster” also looks hilarious. It definitely made me smile. 😉
