I can not tell a lie on this one. Besides Shuri, the anti-hero’s like: Ororo Munroe / Storm, Catwoman / Selina Kyle, Harley Quinn / Dr. Harleen Quinzel, Katana*/ Tatsu Yamashiro , Red Sonja, Mystique/Raven Darkholme, and Gamora were much more interesting and fun to watch. Hey, both regular heroes Ayo and Shuri in “Black Panther” were also more interesting and fun than the three main leads in that film - they stole the show. Truthfully, I can’t wait until they do a movie version of Teen Titans with Raven. Talk about anti-heroes. If you want to include characters that are not heroes or protagonists, have you considered a simpler question: Favorite Female Superhero Movie Characters?

It is not a matter of wanting to include, it seems that the characters are featured in these movies are complex, neither 100% heroic or 100% villainous.The question "Which of these contemporary* super-heroines or anti-heroines based on a comic periodical character is your favorite?" is phrased to account for individual definitions, as well as, set some parameters for inclusion. I thought it necessary since there is no introduction and some poll takers make take issue why an character from an older movie or graphic novel was excluded.
