Live Poll: Ebert's Ten Greatest Films of All Time (2012 version)

In 1991, Roger Ebert made a list of his personal "Ten Greatest Films of All Time". The iconic film critic had strong opinions about which films deserved a thumbs up.

A year before his death in 2013, and more than 20 years after the first list, Roger Ebert updated his original list and made a kind of last Top 10 testament.

Which of Ebert's final Top 10 of all time gets your vote?

He did not just make a list in 1991 and then update it once. He wrote that he made this list for the 2012 Sight & Sound film poll after having previously voted in 1972, 1982, 1992 and 2002.

Thanks for specifying this, Peter. This is indeed not clear in my description. I've changed it in the list. Could you please also change it in the thread above which I cannot modify myself?

Roger Ebert rated "2001: A Space Odyssey" as the #1 of his Top 10 movies, so that's good enough for me.

Great movie! As a child I always had a poster of 'Apocalypse Now' in my room. I still use it in my profile on IMDb.

My favorite would probably be Raging Bull but it could easily changed come voting time; this list is really a hard one to pick from. Thanks for the shoutout btw Leavey!

'citizen kane' would have to be my first choice, with '2001' a close second...

Not bad except he has The Tree of Life, an absolutely atrocious piece of pretentious garbage on his list.  No CASABLANCA, No THE BEST YEARS OF OUR LIVES, No ALL ABOUT EVE but THE TREE OF LIFE?  Not much of a critic.
