Discussed or Backstoried HotD Series Character Nicknames

The missing image options are for nicknamed character's mentioned multiple times in the series, but have yet to make a physical appearance on-sceen or will make a physical appearance on-sceen this week or the only appear by a technicality so far (in the second season stitchwork opening sequence). The series writers seemingly are making the effort to slip each character's nickname into the conversation making it part of the TV series canon, as well as, the source material, Fire & Blood novel canon.

SPOILER ALERT: Intended for House of the Dragon (2022) viewers current through the 2024 season, as poll reveals depicted, discussed or backstoried HotD series character nicknames.

Dalton 'The Red Kracken' Greyjoy has only been mentioned repeatedly is small council meetings throughout the series and is a noteworthy character in this time period. He has yet to have a physical appearence, but with coming sea battles with the Triarchy may pop up yet physically on the series in the next two seasons.

Simaliarly, Queen Consort Alysanne 'Good Queen Alysanne' Targargyen has been mentioned in the series multiple times and does appear in the opening sequence of the season two episodes, but has not appeared in the live-action portion and can only appear in a flashback sequence. Plus, her nickname has yet to be used in the series and is only known per Blood & Fire novel.

Simaliarly, Tessarion, the Blue Queen, Daeron Targaryen's personal mount has been mentioned three times in the series, but will debut on-screen in this Sunday's "House of the Dragon" episode #2.8 for her first physical appearance.
