Don't forget "Steve," who wrote everything down in his "handy, dandy notebook" in the children's show "Blue's Clues."  It was on the air for over ten years.

Mrs. Wiggins was the secretary to Mr. Tudball in a long running sketch on the Carol Burnett Show.  She would hake dictation from him on a steno pad (basically a notebook).  Wiggins was played by Burnett and Tudball was played by Tim Conway.
