@TheOldJalapenoman can you mention the characters they played?
@jaf_ismael Give me a few minutes. I am watching my granddaughter while her father runs to the store. It's a challenge watching a child from your bed!
@jaf_ismael
John Wayne: Wake of the Red Witch (1948), The Sons of Katie Elder (1965), The Conquerer (1956)
Jimmy Stewart: After the Thin Man (1936)
Henry Fonda Once Upon a Time in the West (1968)
Clint Eastwood: The Beguiled (1971), High Plains Drifter (1973)
James Garner: A Man Called Sledge (1970), Atlantis; THe Lost Empire (2001)
Charles Bronson: Machine Gun Kelly (1958)
Gregory Peck; The Boys from Brazil (1978)
Audie Murphy: No Name on the Bullit (1959)
Cary Grant: Suspicion (1941), Sinners in the Sun (1932)

FYC : Bill The Butcher in Gangs of NY is a much more epic villainous role for Daniel Day Lewis

I'm not sure I would consider Bruce Willis to be a villain in Looper.
Morgan Freeman in Wanted.
@Pencho15 Complex antagonist. But still a villain IMO.Sympathetic but still ... killing / attempting to kill kids. Including (presumably) his own - Piper Perabo's character's kid.
