@urbanemovies ,
We had 100% coverage during the 2017 solar eclipse and will have 98.3% max coverage during the solar eclipse on Monday April 8, 2024.
My favorite is A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court.

@urbanemovies ,
Please do not include in your poll:
Nightfall (1988)
The film is an abomination. It is a horrible adaptation of Isaac Asimov's short story Nightfall. It's a shame that there is no decent adaption of this short story.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nightfall_(Asimov_novelette_and_novel)
... In 1968, the Science Fiction Writers of America voted "Nightfall" the best science fiction short story written prior to the 1965 establishment of the Nebula Awards and included it in The Science Fiction Hall of Fame Volume One, 1929–1964. ...
... The planet Lagash ("Kalgash" in the novel) is constantly illuminated by the six suns of its multiple star system. Areas of darkness exist in enclosed areas on Lagash, such as caves, tunnels, and windowless rooms, but night never falls because at least one sun is present in the sky at any given time. ...
... The scientists use this apparent myth, along with recent discoveries in gravitational research, to develop a theory about the repeated collapse of society. A mathematical analysis of Lagash's orbit around its primary sun reveals irregularities caused by the presence of a previously undiscovered moon that cannot be seen in the light of day. Calculations indicate that this "invisible" moon will soon obscure one of Lagash's suns when it is alone in the sky, resulting in a total eclipse that recurs every 2,049 years. Having evolved on a planet with no diurnal cycle, all Lagashians possess an intense, instinctive fear of the dark. ...
... In a 2022 episode of the comedy series Young Sheldon, after the death of Asimov the main character Sheldon Cooper sets up a book club to discuss Asimov's works as a tribute to him. "Nightfall" is chosen to be the first book to be discussed at the club.[8] ...

Are you familiar with the original sound version of “King Solomon’s Mines” ? There is one well timed eclipse that was written in the original novel. It is near the end in the “smelling out of evil scene”. In the video, it is in the “the truth about…” section” (sorry about spoiling the ending.) https://youtu.be/QL1VHwAd18s?si=CVCUjhsz_4QhNVvO
