Sorry for the poor foodie photo. I should have taken it when I first got the bowl.

Not necessarily dumplings but mushroom and sauerkraut pierogis which are Polish dumplings I guess. Still, they were amazingly delicious alongside the bowl of fresh, warm borscht. Sorry. No leftovers to share.

Where I'm from, we also have a dish of that shape. We call it Samosa.





This is another variation of Samosa. We mostly add Keema (mutton) inside it.
