In other words, there are certain popular, top-rated, high-grossing, big-budget materials that I've never experienced, entire franchises with which I'm not familiar.

Combined all the lists into one with some changes.

I find this a bit problematic with two of the entries being movie tie-ins. The fact Batman Begins and the Fifth Element lead their year in votes probably has more to do with people rating incorrectly.

I don't think it is too much of a leap to say Resident Evil 4 for 2005 and Metal Gear Solid for 1998 were more popular.
