@Michelle What about review bombing for One Piece? It's still happening and being ignored?
Look at my post: https://community-imdb.sprinklr.com/conversations/data-issues-policy-discussions/110-review-bombing-and-fake-reviews/61e2b9599ae52c4a674fa405
@Michelle hello there, any updates from the appropriate team? Because the review bombing is continuing and getting worse, with both of One Piece's last two episodes getting a whopping 40% of 1 star votes. This petty back and forth is only going to continue with these series if something isn't done by you guys to correct prior episodes and protect newer ones.
@Farmlandsaga I noticed that, a real shame considering how popular this site is. Even MAL has practices in place to deal with blind haters, guess IMDb doesn't care enough. In the end though scores are just numbers and shouldn't affect our enjoyment of these shows. The praise and love from fans will drown out the mindless hate with time.
@AaronKyle98 She will not respond again until there is an update. The issue is in a queue to be looked at and will not be a quick fix. Likely all the accounts and their ratings/reviews will be scrubbed in the near future and Michelle will only post when it is solved.
Hey just wanted to point a lot of botting happening in attack on titan episodes. Can you guys please check into it. For example latest ep judgement is botted with one's.

Hey there, I noticed a recent issue where it seems trolls have been mass voting certain shows with 1 star ratings. It's happened this past week with two very popular anime, Attack on Titan and Demon Slayer, where around 15% of the ratings for the newest episodes are 1/10. This is far above average looking at past episodes and it's been brought up by many of the reviews, which are mostly positive. While I realize a rating is just a number, myself and many others look to this site to see what movies/shows are worth watching and how new things are being received. Are there moderators to look into or fix issues like these? Because otherwise, knowing that ratings on the biggest internet movie site can be manipulated so easily makes me question relying on it.
Hello, I want to bring to your attention the fact that the latest episode of Attack on Titan has been review bombed with ratings of 1 to decrease the overall score of the episode. I am wondering if you are going to take any action and delete those ratings made by bots. This also happened to Demon Slayer. If things remain this way, then the score of the episodes will become very unreliable, so then what's the point?

👏👏👏 A week ago, One Piece fans review bombed Attack on Titans. Now, Attack on Titans fans review bomb One Piece. Predictable and childish. There is nothing IMDb can do to stop it. It goes around in circle, it will only stop when people will stop arguing on Twitter. With each review bombing it is the same exact pattern, it always originates from social medias:
@cinephile I'm not talking crap about AoT. I'm a fan of both and have read mangas for both Op and AoT.
I'm saying that leaving review bombs is really stupid and people participating from both sides should be banned.
Twitter on the other hand, is in general a toxic platform so no surprise there. I don't see why people just can't get along or STFU if they're not enjoying something. No need for this behavior on either side.
Thanks for reporting these votes. I have alerted the appropriate team who will investigate further and take the applicable actions.
Concerning the User Reviews, if you are seeing any reviews that violate our guidelines, please click the "Report This" link below the review, complete the report form and our staff will review them.
Another ep was released and it's the same situation again. Mind you this will not resolve on it's own. There will always be downvoting but this time it has gone to far. Demon slayer, attack on titan and onepiece fans are having battle royal. It's sad to see a leading website this vulnerable and it's even disgusting how respective fanbase are behaving.

Thanks for the additional reports observing the ongoing voting abuse on these episode titles. I can confirm that the ticket filed is still open pending investigation. Once I have an update I will relay the information here on this thread.
In the meantime, I have given the ticket a push by adding these new observations to the ticket.
It’s come to my attention that there is a war over which anime/series is the best. Salty fans are rating episodes 1/10’s just so they can lower the rating.
Anime fans are even targeting breaking bad’s perfect 10 out of 10 episode (ozymandias) and rating in a 1/10 just to lower the rating. Its now a 9.9.
I pray that someone at IMDb can do something about this problem is it becoming in infuriating and childish
Hello. There is a bunch of spam ratings (1/10) in episodes 18 and 19 from the 4th season of Attack On Titan. The spam ratings are mostly by One Piece fans, and its not their first time doing that. They did the same thing with Boruto and Demon slayer before. Kindly remove these ratings and if you need anymore proof I am here but I believe that it’s really clear from those 2 pictures.
@youseifgamer9 its breaking bad fans lol, and they cant do anything about it. They have to consider votes from real account. This site is run by bigger fanbase, you just have to deal with it or just ignore this site.
@youseifgamer9 Yup. Same thing with One Piece. 40% of ratings are 1/10. Every person participating in this is equally as stupid and It's a shame that no one is doing anything about it.
i don’t think BB fans started this. They have no relevance in the argument. It was originally anime fans (prob AOT) that targeted ozymandias to lower its perfect 10/10. That has been 10.0 for 9 years. And now its dropped because of the childish anime fans.
What a load of crap. The latest ep of aot "two brothers "had perfect 10 score along with ozymandias, this triggered bb fans and started downvoting it. Now it's like 9.7 or something. If bb fans didn't do anything aot fans would have minded their own business, but as usual bb fans had to show their superiority complex
I disagree. AOT has had 2 episodes with a perfect 10/10 (hero and assault) for many many months and never did any BB fans downvote it. This is all recent plays by anime fans in-fighting. Just see the recent trends.
Why would BB fans start now when AOT has had 10’s before. Makes 0 sense.
Plus the recent AOT episode was a 10 but it just had come out and is subject to change when more fans vote it. The previous 10’s on AOT had 75k + ratings. This new one just has 32k.
What does you mean many months? Every time hero became 10 it was immediately downvoted to 9.9. It was 10 for just few days and some goes for assault, it stayed 10 for like just 2 or 3 weeks.
The recent ep was 10 with over 15k votes and then BB fans downvoted it. It has like 10% ones now.
Look I'm not justifying any fanbase here, what both of them did was childish. Anime fans are generally immature but I didnt expect this from BB fans.
Yeah I understand. Dont worry im on your side. Both fan groups are being ridiculous. I am both a massive BB and anime fan and what’s happening is so frustrating. I hope IMDB put some effort into this and make some changes. Its so childish. Who cares what show does better. Only that those who watch it, rate fairly and enjoy.
@youseifgamer9 you’re so wrong. Bb fans have no reason to start this. This began with childish anime fans (aot) to lower ozymandias so they could have the highest ratings. The space of a few days bb ep has gone from a 10 to a 9.9 after 5+ years of being top spot. No reason why bb fans would even care and start downvoting aot . Aot has had 10’s before for a while and there was no talk of bb starting anything. this is all new.
just understand this is childish anime fans wanting the highest rating. I can say that the mature bb fans don’t really care.
@Leestoy00 lol if bb fans were so mature they wouldn't have downvoted hero ep when it aired in 2019, dont be delusional that all BB fans are mature and aot fans are immature
Recently a lot of tv shows have been review bombed, attack on titan just released a new episode which has 26,000 10/10 votes and 2600 1/10 votes. Clearly, the episode was not a 1/10 and people are doing it out of hate for the anime's success. I also noticed that the breaking bad episode that was rated 10/10 has dropped as well due to people review bombing that. tbh I'm not sure how this problem could be solved but I think it has to as it tarnishes the ratings, this also isn't a random theory. When episode 17 of season 4 came out there was a Twitter user who told its followers to review bomb the episode which has now ruined its rating.

So a bunch of Attack on Titan fans review bombed Breaking Bad, and a bunch of its episodes so they could have the highest rated episode on imdb. Is anyone planning on fixing this? It's pretty pathetic that they had to review other shows and episodes negatively just to boost their show and it's obviously a false placement now having the highest rated episode.
@ChickensofDeath wow just wow, you guys downvote every ep of aot which gets high score and when they retaliate you guys get triggered. Ever taught of FIRST not downvoting aot.
@Farmlandsaga You're delusional, AOT fans review bombed Ozymandias (the highest rated episode of any tv show) just so they could get the top spot. Ozymandias has been the highest rated episode of any show for like 5 years now, no AOT episode is going to change that. There is no motive to suggest Breaking Bad fans review bombed AOT first. also in the span of a couple days Ozymandias went from the highest to not even top 10 and yet AOT has 2 episodes in the top ten, Breaking Bad fans are not review bombing AOT lol.
@ChickensofDeath I wonder if this also explains why the Season 2 finale of Hannibal which was a 9.9 for years recently dropped to 9.8 with a few hundred 1 star ratings appearing.
Hero ep had perfect 10 and reached no 1. This triggered BB fans and down voted it
2021
Assault ep reached perfect 10 and again downvoted.
2022
Two brothers was 10 and now it's not even in top 30.
You guys were always downvoting aot ep and now when they they retaliate you guys are complaining. Besides bb is more popular than aot, they cant do much to hurt BB.
Looks like every fan base thinks they have done nothing wrong ha ha. Nothing will be sorted trying to work it out cos everyone blames someone else. Thats Humans for you…
The truth is that all of the fan bases have downvoted at some point. And its all not helping. Lets just try and push for IMDB to sort this out.
@Leestoy00 the thing is they cant do much, people are manipulating with real accounts which unfortunately imdb has to consider. Rating sites were never perfect but since the rise of social media it's just unreliable now.
Idk why but seems like its Breaking Bad fans https://animegalaxyofficial.com/breaking-bad-fans-review-bombing-attack-on-titan-with-1-star-ratings/?fbclid=IwAR2I0vyyQ_zLeEMUfUqm4PtUp8OgSCWDCwRcFwQnpnvB0lR2qKlnxCuXPtM
There have been some toxic internet communities of the show One piece who have been bombing the ratings and reviews of the latest Attack on Titan episodes, by deliberately rating them 1/10 despite not having touched the show. More so, They have been creating multiple fake IMDb accounts to do so (they publicly boast about these on twitter). Things got uglier last episode, when Breaking Bad fans started bombing episode 78 of AoT, because some groups have been falsely rating the highest rated TV episode Ozymandias (I don't exactly know how this started) as it has dropped from 1st to 14th top rated TV episode. Naturally, the toxic one piece fans I mention of joined the fray soon enough, and as of now ep 78 of AoT stands at 9.7/10. Definitely doesn't sound bad, but given how much excited and impressed fans were with this episode, so much so that it was 10/10 for one day, before being affected by the bombing, its not fair. And the result is not one sided. Fans of all 3 shows have been falsely rating each other to retaliate, which is pathetic
Honestly, behavior like this sucks all the fun of episode ratings, as there's no integrity left to it. I request IMDb to look into this and solve it. Thank You.

People are making fake accounts and review/rating bombing One Piece with 1/10 ratings: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt16987356/?ref_=tt_urv
What I don't understand is why aren't these people banned. Review section is also filled with fake reviews like this one:
