A famous Brazilian podcaster is on Twitter encouraging his listeners to increase the current score of the movie 'Highlander II' on IMDb. Just warning the admins.

The Twitter campaign targeting the IMDb rating
apparently began on January 2.  Up to the
time of this reply I could find nearly 50
subsequent related tweets.

Some history:

The number of 10/10 votes displayed on the
movie's ratings page on June 30 2014 was 932.

The number of 10/10 votes displayed on the
movie's ratings page on Dec. 28 2014 was 971.

The number of 10/10 votes displayed on the
movie's ratings page at the time of this reply was 1277.

Groan. The famous Brazilian podcaster mentioned by Vinicius Cordeiro along with those retweeting his tweets could be risking having their account terminated.

One could consider that advocating that others should fraudulently rate a film on IMDb could be considered to be solicitation to commit fraud. However, this is probably a stretch and based on lack of legal training.

I have seen Highlander II: The Quickening and if I had to give it a score out of 10 I would say it "can be only one".

I'll show myself out.
