IMDb App: Android & Fire devices

Would like to see support for Android adaptive icons. The bright yellow icon clashes with all the themed icons on my start page.

Every time I click on to a notification that is sent to me all I get is the IMDb homepage. So what's the point of sending me notifications if I cannot see the content?
