IMDb app requires an update on Fire tablet

Question

I launch the IMDb app on my Fire tablet I get an 'alert' informing me to continue using IDMb requires an update to 7.2. I check the Fire tablet app library and the only version available is 7.1.2, No update to 7.2 possible.My tablet is running the latest Fire OS version.I can dismiss the annoying alert and IMDb still works.

@CAH Please see https://help.imdb.com/article/imdb/mobile-web-apps/imdb-app-general-troubleshooting/GPV9HCYQGA8XT8QZ — if you cannot upgrade the IMDb Android app to version 9.1.3 (or higher) then the app will no longer function later this year. This is why we are messaging you now. Fortunately the IMDb site at http://www.imdb.com/ is now fully responsive, which means all pages work on any size of device, and will therefore work on your tablet just fine. The site actually has more functionality and content than the app these days in any case. You can even create a link to the site on your tablet’s home (or other) screen which will provide a shortcut to the IMDb site just as if it was an app. Hope this helps.
