Company Logos Use on IMDb

I would like to use our company logo in the image portion of our company - Dragonslayer Entertainment in this case.  Like we can upload headshots for our individual accounts, it would be nice to be able to upload our company logos so people recognize us.  I was informed this is not possible at this time with IMDB but I would like to have that feature.

I'm working on updating my company's Pro page and would love to include our logo. The most recent post I've seen in regards to this was 2 years ago so I'm just curious if there is a way to do this yet? Thanks!

There has been no change to the Company Data, so yes, you are still unable to add logos.

I really doubt that this will be available any time soon, if ever. This would require a change to the database to store the logo, plus the software to display and update the graphic.

I am trying to add a profile picture for my production company (https://pro-labs.imdb.com/company/co0398246/?ref_=sch_int) but the site won't allow me to add one. I have read that I do not need to claim a production company page. Any ideas on how to upload a profile picture? Thanks.

Hi Michael,

Thank you for your question, currently, our system is not designed to allow the upload of images to a company page; we regret any inconvenience this may cause.

Best,

Thanks Kurt-

Why is that and will that be changed in the near future?

Does not seem to make sense.

Hi Michael,

This feature is just not, currently, supported. However, I'm going to change this thread to an idea for our team to review for future product release consideration..

Thanks,
~Kurt

We need to be able to add the logo on our Company's IMDB page.  It will look much more professional when our company is being searched.

I have been trying to add my company logo to imdb page, without that image, it looks unprofessional. I do not understand why imdb would have a blank image box as the profile, yet no images allowed. Imdb, Please change this asap.

Can imdb add the option to allow posters be added to Companies imdb Pro profile? I think it would make it look more professional.

Hi! Is there a Imdb for a company? So we can pay an anual fee instead of a each person?

Hi María,

Please know that IMDbPro is designed for individual use only. As a result, we are unable to provide enterprise-level accounts. IMDbPro only provides a single-invoice option for companies interested in 100+ individual memberships.

Please let us know if we can offer any further help.

Hi Claire,
Would you know the cost for the (minimum) 100+ memberships? We wouldn't need that many, but trying to get a ballpark. Thanks

I like to be able to add our logos of the film societies that represent us, for my case the Mexican Society of Cinematographers, but I am guessing the ASC (American Society of Cinematographers) like to have that as well.

I think we can make IMDB more of our home with these little changes.

It would be best if not only JPEG format is supported but PNG or SVG as well.

I've been trying to claim my company's page for a week. I've emailed the support people. I have an IMDB pro subscription. What is going on? How do I solve this? Please help. Thanks! Every time I log in, the "claim page" button stares back at me, as if I haven't already gone through the process a dozen times.

Hi there,

You will not be able to claim a company page with IMDbPro. IMDbPro is intended for use by individuals, and as such you can only claim the name page for a person using your membership.

IMDb does not facilitate customization of company profile pictures. The pages of the type in question all have the same default placeholder PNG:

We all know that we can add images to people and films but why can we not add images for specific companies? It would seem logical to me and hopefully people agree. Seeing that images can be added and linked to people and films I would not have thought there is a technical difficulty in making it available for Company specific pages/profiles as well.

This is a fine idea, but how should it work? Would representatives of the companies be expected to apply for stylistic control of the corresponding pages or would any IMDb member (given adequate permission) be able to simply upload a new logo to a gallery of logos? What about both?

@jeorj_euler Thank you for the comment and great point! How does it work for "stars"? I am pretty sure they are very much in control of their profiles, or maybe not.

I think it would be great if a company could claim its own page and upload a logo and pictures of premiers or titles.

Hello, Are there any plans to allow a branded logo on the company pages on IMDbPro? It might be a nice touch and help individualize each one.

Thank you,

Angela Rock

I wonder how much interest there would be in allowing logos on production company pages.  This would not just be for vanity's sake but also to help easily distinguish one production company from another, and easily identify the production company whose page you are on.

Hi there @EveAMa ,

Currently, our system is not designed to allow the upload of images to a company page.

However, I'll convert this into an idea so other IMDb users can vote on it. This will allow us to measure the level of interest..

Can others that would like to add photos and images to their company page as well, please post a comment for IMDB Pro so that they know there is an interest larger than myself.

Thank you.

I am trying to add my company's logo to my production company page and have noted that this issue has been brought up several times by mutiple other users. Why after at least 13 months, hasn't this been updated? This is a no-brainer for indepepdent filmmakers who are really relying on getting their brand and name out there. Seems IMDB could do somethign to help that process.
