Title Pages: Browse TV trivia by episode

Is there a way that the trivia for each episode of a show to be listed on the main show page instead of (or in addition to) on each episode page? I love finding out all of the trivia possible, and it gets tedious having to look on each page for all of it.

Hi Katelyn Jernigan,

In principle, I like your idea. If this were to be implemented, it would make sense to also keep the trivia associated with an episode with that episode.

I see three arguments against showing all of the trivia on the main page.
1. For some television series the main page would be extremely long.
2. The trivia would lose some of the context that is gained by being associated with an episode.
3. There is the potential of spoiling certain episodes. What may be a non-spoiler trivia for a specific episode may be a spoiler for preceding episode.

Note: I am a long time user of IMDb, not a staff member.

The episode specific trivia bits could be identified by episode number or by a season:episode labeling system (185, or 4:13) and I know that on the web based page there is special spoiler redaction font. I don't see why in this day and age there can't be something like that for mobile. Now, I may be a millennial, but I am the least tech savvy millennial out there! So what I am proposing might just be impossible. I just get annoyed looking up specific episodes and finding a bit of missed trivia.

Just for the record...

ljdoncel,

Amazing work! On reflection most of the series listed do not surprise me.

For trivia, these series somewhat surprise me:
"The New Price Is Right" (1972): 1,010 items (0 spoilers) / 28,402 words
"Hospital Central" (2000): 915 items (5 spoilers) / 13,467 words
"Wheel of Fortune" (1983): 766 items (3 spoilers) / 17,852 words

I'm disappointed that Jeopardy! (1984– ) only has 15 items (0 spoilers) / 893 words

To relieve your disappointment a bit, "Jeopardy" (1984) holds the 61st position in the ranking with 410 items (0 spoilers), just after "Breaking Bad" (2008) (412 items) and before "One Tree Hill" (2003) (409 items). Please note that the counting includes trivia from the series level but also from each episode of the series.

On the other hand, many trivia of this game show (291) are just entries of the type "Show #xxxx" (being #xxxx the episode number). That's why the word count for the whole series is quite low (3,762 words), occupying the 286th position in the ranking, just after "Teen Titans" (2003) (3,768 words) and before "Petticoat Junction" (1963) (3,757 words).
