Removal of IMDb Account “Sign in with Facebook”

I've been using facebook login and tried to reset my password with the email address I use for facebook but I always get the same error message "We weren't able to identify you given the information provided."
I still have access to the email address. My user ID is jojo4400-868-443660.
Please help!

I was also asked to reset my password using the email associated with my Facebook account, only to retrieve an empty IMDb account (contributions, lists, ratings, recommendations, etc. all gone).

Is there any way I could recover the data? I've had my account for 10+ years.

I had an account linked with Facebook, but it's gone, and now I have to switch to other social media options. I linked with Google sign-in. So now I've lost all my data, ratings, and lists. So can you recover my data?

Now, I opened the IMDb app on my phone and I couldn't log in with my facebook account anymore and I created by accident a new account with my current email: johnchatzi2002@gmail.com (User ID: GiannisChatzivasieiou)

If I open the IMDb website from my PC, I am already logged in to my old account, so I can access it like this for a short time I guess.

Please is there any way I could keep my old account?

I can't sign in my IMBD account. It was linked with my Facebook account but it is unavailable now. My phone still signed in but i can't sign in on Chrome. I followed your instructions but it is not recognize my e-mail. I tried the same e-mail i was using on my Facebook. For sending this problem to you, i create a new account but my question is about  mkumsal account. And my mail address is mervekumsal@gmail.com.

I am listing all the movies i have watched since forever and my account is so important for me. I am using IMDB.com more than Instagram.

i used to login through facebook login. as now i have reset password by using same email address which i used for facebook login, my created list is not showing up. Please help. i need that list.

I used to have a different email address for facebook, in the meantime I changed facebook email to another email address and set it on primary. Now my imdb account is connected on my former email address that I do not control anymore and cannot login into IMDb. How to fix this problem so I do not lose IMDb account.

Now i can't make login on myb PC.

Hi - looking for community help before contacting IMDB.

I think I’ve lost my old account, with years of IMDB rating and lists due to the removal of Facebook login. I used to used FB login to access my IMDB account. And when I went through the process of trying to log in using my Amazon account details instead it seems I now have a fresh new IMDB account, which is NOT GOOD.

Luckily I wrote down my old IMDB account user ID. Any advice on how to merge the accounts? Or just get access to my old one?

Hello Team,

I was using Facebook as a sign-in option and now IMDb has stopped login via Facebook. 

I used "forgot my password" via the email id associated with Facebook but it didn't help.

I used to use Facebook to login into IMDb, but I cannot reset my password either using the technique recommended. I go to the reset password page, type in my email and the captcha, and there is always an error.

The email is definitely correct because it's the one I use for Facebook. When I login using my Google account, obviously all my watchlist and old rankings are not there. I've literally got like a thousand rankings and 200 films in my watchlist, which I can't remember off the top of my head, so this is really irritating. 

Bizarrely, I am still logged in on the IMDb app on my Samsung, but I can't double check any details like my email address or do anything from there.

How can I recover my account and my watchlist etc?
