Removal of IMDb Account “Sign in with Facebook”
Effective October 06, 2022, you will no longer be able to use “Sign in with Facebook“ to access your IMDb account. You can maintain access to your account and any saved information by setting a password on your IMDb account using the reset password process. Once you have done this, you will be able to use the “Sign in with IMDb” option for any future logins.
If you previously used "Sign in with Facebook" to access your IMDb account, please take the following steps to retain access to your account:
- Go to the IMDb Reset Password Page.
- Input the email associated with your Facebook account and select "Continue". You will receive an email with a link to reset your IMDb password.
- Return to the IMDb sign in page and select "Sign in with IMDb" to log in to IMDb with your email and new password.
If you have previously followed these instructions or have already set a password for your IMDb account, please return to the sign in page and use the "Sign in with IMDb" login method.
If you do not reset your password, you will not be able to access your IMDb account and the associated data (e.g. contributions, lists, ratings, recommendations, etc.).

It's seems that for some reason I already had a blank account with the same e-mail that I used on my facebook account that I used to connect to IMDb therefore after IMDb canceled the login using facebook I can't connect again to my account.
I tried to complete delete my blank account to see if I could "Reset Password" to connect to my facebook one but that also didn't work...
I still have the access to my IMDb account with facebook login on the App on my cellphone but didn't find anything there that could help me to login on any other terminal.
Is there any way to connect to my account again?

Good morning,
After the removal of Facebook from my account, I tried resetting my password and it seems I have lost all of my account history. For whatever reason it looks like i have 2 accounts connected to the same email. This new sign is says I have been a member since October 2021, however it is not my userID and I have had my original account for much much longer.
Can anyone help me get access to my original account?

I had an facebook log in account,now this is not possible, I had to create an IMDb account but I lost my data (Ratings,Lists) how can I recover it?

Hope you are all doing great
I tried to enter my IMDb account through the website and was asked to reset my password to login with a method other than facebook. I was able to reset it and enter my account normally, the only thing is that there is no sign of my watchlist and, most importantly, my own 7-year-old watched list. The website doesn't appear to be syncing correctly, I can use my mobile app with no problem and the lists are fine
Has this ever happened to anyone? Is there any way to fix it?

Hi all, since facebook login has been unsupported I lost all my lists. I already had an account with same email with Google and it seems that I'm unable to access my original facebook account. I've reset my password but then I access my Google account. So I'm not able to get my data from my facebook account. How can this be fixed? Thanks!!

I have an account on IMDB and I use Facebook to sign in. However, Facebook login is no longer available.
When I followed the directions on how to sign into your account if you used Facebook before, it took me to a completely new profile that has all my data missing!
This is my old profile back with the Facebook account

My Facebook account is linked the same email for both accounts! and I am so confused right now.
Appreciate any kind of help and suggestions.

So I used to log to IMDb trough my Facebook account. I guess this is not available anymore, so I followed the instructions and I added a password to my old account and it was no longer linked to Facebook.... but what do you know... my Watchlist was empty... which sucks a lot cause i had 200+ movies that I wanted to watch later and I was adding them there for the moments when I have the time to watch a movie, but I don't have an idea which.
So my question is - how do I get my Watchlist back? I really need it...

I have created my account 7 or 8 years ago which I used to log in with Facebook. But recently I am unable to log in with Facebook. I have changed my Facebook email recently. I tried to login with my new email but I'm getting an error and unable to log in. I no longer have access to my previous email. My account is still logged into my phone but I am unable to add email to this account. I tried to log in with a browser but failed. Please help me to recover my account.

Hello, I've been a user of IMDB for over a decade. I had more than 2,000 ratings. Now all are gone, except for 9 new ones I just put in. I used to use the Facebook login button, but now that is gone. I suspect its gone because Amazon does not want to play well with Facebook. All fine, but how do I recover my historical ratings data? Please help! This is a HUGE problem for me! I use IMDB all the time!

Hello,
I assume was logged in with Facebook and I do not use very often the e-mail address I use for Facebook. When I logged in with that e-mail address I could not receive my watchlist and other lists. I am still logged in on my mobile app, however, I cannot link these accounts. How can I do it?

Since the option of Logging in with Facebook has been disabled, I discovered I already had an account with only 1 watched item saved. It had no lists, nothing.
The thing is: fot both accounts I apparantly use the SAME emailadress, but I always used the 'login via Facebook' option so that's the one which is updated. I tried everything to recover my 'facebook-page' but no matter what I do, I keep ending up at the one with only 1 saved item. All I want is to have all my lists back, so I could really use some help.
