What is the best cover of the song “While My Guitar Gently Weeps” by an artist other than The Beatles or a member of The Beatles, to appear in a movie or television show? George Harrison’s song first appeared on “The Beatles, The Beatles” album (aka, “The White Album”) in 1968. Of the first two selections on this list, the character of Floyd Pepper sang a short emotionally impactful 1:23 version on the 4th season, 19th episode of “The Muppet Show” (Lynda Carter (aka TV’s Wonder Woman) guess hosting, while Regina Spektor and Dario Marianelli did a brilliant arrangement that was played over the end credits of “Kubo and The Two Strings” using a Shamisen, Kubo’s instrument, instead of a guitar. Which gets you vote as the better one?

I know this doesn’t have a prayer of ever getting published as a poll by the IMDb because of the links to the videos which were absolutely needed for voters to make informed decisions. But hey, that doesn’t mean it cannot be decussed here just for fun.
And yes, this basically starts off as a face-off , but eve that can change as others suggest versions that fit the criteria of the poll.

I am pretty sure this is possible? But, why can't you hyperlink in the notes of each answer to either an internal IMDb music video clip under the music video title that has the song, like The Beatles: While My Guitar Gently Weeps - Cirque du Soleil (2016 ) formatted like this IMDb trailer [link =https://www.imdb.com/title/tt6433880/videoplayer/vi1736293145?ref_=tt_ov_vi] Anna and the Apocalypse Trailer [/link ] or an external You Tube Video [link= https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0CP-f8KB5ZM] While My Guitar Gently Weeps - Kubo and the Two Strings Music Video[/link ]. The downside of YouTube link is I don't think anyone is going to want to have to wade through the ads that precede each music video. I have done something similar in the past, the poll options would appear like this. I just used these as examples, I know they are not viable for your use. I think it would look better if you set it up like you do a Discuss Here hyperlink, rather than using [url]. I would try to use official videos associated with link that is either the artist or company releasing the cut. They are usually obvious by noting the user's account name.

Alternatively, the video can be posted to the IMDb titles' Links to Other Sites under either Official Sites (ie Kubo and the Two Strings) or Video clips (ie The Muppet Show) where appropriate, if you want to keep the hyperlinks internal to IMDb and avoid the ad issue and leaving the IMDb site.
