Suggestion: Movie Spoiler Alert!

Three days, one week and two weeks are insanely short, While I believe in the "forever" option,  I think 'one year'  or 'after the film's DVD release' would have been reasonable starters.

Revised list:

- There is no length of time necessary to hold anything in
- Three days from the opening day
- One week from opening day
- Two weeks from opening day
- One month from opening day
- After the DVD is released
- One year from opening day
- Forever - I never talk about any possible spoilers

Forever! With today's many options for watching films long after they have been released, why take a chance on ruining a perfectly good movie for someone else?

I have run into serious spoilers:
- in friends' posts on Facebook
- in coffee shops, delis, and restaurants... overheard at the next table or, worse, issuing from the mouth of the friend I'm dining with! (...or should I say... former friend....???)
- in elevators, on buses and airplanes, and waiting rooms everywhere
- It was even touch and go with some of the film clips shown at the 2017 Academy Awards! 

But the worst.... the absolute WORST.... are the spoilers published on the IMDb site itself. The plot summary at the top should be brief, and contain just enough information to intrigue the viewer. Often it is too long, and gives away too much information about the movie.

One might expect the STORYLINE (located below the cast info) to reveal a bit more of the plot, and of course all bets are off with a SYNOPSIS. At least it is reached by a separate link, and usually labelled with a red spoiler warning. But please please PRETTY PLEASE - I appeal to the fans who submit the information, and those who moderate the submitted comments - to be more careful with the plot summaries.
