Update: The 26 on the list have had a few small changes but they have remained as the top 26 on Metacritic's list for about eight or nine days now. #27 - #30 on Metacritic's list are tied right now with a score of 84: If that doesn't change in the next week, I'll add them to the list. Right now, there are too many films with a score of 83 to add to the list. From what I've read and based on previous years, Metacritic's list should be fairly complete and stable by around Christmas.

Update: The list is now at 31 due to two movies' metascores increasing and Metacritic just very recently adding another movie that previously had not been assigned a Metascore. If there are no more changes to the Metacritic list, there won't be any changes to my list because there are so many films tied at a score of 83 that it would take my list to 42. However, since the three changes that I mentioned happened in the last few days, I wouldn't be surprised if there are still a few more changes to come.

I'll try my best to finish this by Sunday night (Jan. 5) and will also include information about where to see the films that don't yet have that info in the list. Unless Metacritic makes any more changes, the list is complete, though.
