Typo in the list description. It says 2024 instead of 2025

@Pencho15

I copied and pasted from 2024's list, lol. I fixed it now; thanks for catching that.

By the way, I remember that you helped me a lot with that list. Thanks again!

@rubyfruit76 I'll try to help with this one too, but I haven't seen many 2025 films yet. I am already looking for an image for a character that was great in my opinion to upload.

@Pencho15  'Same here: around this time of year, I still have so many of the year's films to see. Then it's a race trying to cram all of the late releases into a couple of months. If I'm extremely lucky, I see all the movies I want to see in any given year by September of the following year.

Ok, with the year ended these are some heroines in the films I've watched:

Lois Lane from Superman

Hawkgirl from Superman

Eve Teschmacher from Superman (apart from Lois Lane they are supporting characters so you might wish to exclude them if you have better options).

Yelena Belova from Thunderbolts* (I don't know if you've used her in previous years since she is a recurring character in Marvel movies).

Willa from One Battle After Another

Drasa from The Gorge

Elizabeth from The Thursday Murder Club

Laura Blacklock from The Woman in Cabin 10

Glinda also deserves to be considered a heroine in Wicked for Good

Mary Ludwig in The Lost Bus

There are other lead female characters I've seen, but I don't think they did anything heroic, those above definitively did.

@Pencho15 Oh my gosh, this is great! Thank you!

I already had Willa from 'One Battle," who is my favorite this year, but I haven't seen any of the other movies you have above so this is extremely helpful. Thank you again. I can't wait until tomorrow when I can add all of them.

If you have any suggestions, I still have three spots open. (I'm fine with 32 options but if you think I'm missing a really good one, I'd rather not miss someone who really should be included.) I also have three characters on the list with bad images because after uploading several photos (and several times), none were accepted for those three so feel free to suggest images, too. Thanks!

FYC:

Grace (Haley Atwell) in Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning.

Gemma (Allison Williams) and Cady (Violet McGraw) in M3gan 2.0.

Millie (Sydney Sweeney) in The Housemaid (recently released, I haven't seen it but viewer response is strongly positive)

Skye (Naomi Scott) in Smile 2

Stefanie in Final Destination : Bloodlines

Perhaps scratch Eve Tessemacher. Very minor character.

@NYVKE Yay, suggestions! : ) Thank you and I'm sorry that I didn't see this until now. I'll start adding them today whenever I have time.

I have not seen it so I don't know who to suggest, but perhaps KPop Demon Hunters is popular enough to deserve being included?

Also.

Floria Lind from Late Shift sounds like a interesting and heroic character based on the summary. Have not seen it either.

There's no image of them alone yet, but Rana and Nisreen from The Voice of Hind Rajab must be among the most heroic females in movies this year. I have not seen it as it has not been released yet in Mexico, but I do know what the movie is about: here they are with their male partners

@Pencho15 I was wondering the same thing about The Voice of Hind Rajab, which I also haven't seen yet because it didn't come to my city.

I also haven't seen KPop Demon Hunters and haven't read anything, either, so have no sense of the characters but I can do some research. That's a good idea: Thank  you.

And oh my gosh, you're so right about Floria Lind: She sounds perfect for this.

Thank you, Pencho, x 10! You've really helped me, once again, this year.
