This poll includes the top-rated TV episodes that aired in 2024 as voted by IMDb users. Which one do you consider to be the best episode of 2024?

I think using the term, top-rated here would be preferred, clearer and more accurately describe these titles numerical superiority over other 2024 episodes. Whereas, you appropriately use best in the question to accurately describe these titles qualitative superiority over other 2024 episodes. using the same term in both places when asking the poll taker to differentiate them is confusing, especially when the listed top-rated IMDb episode has already been determined to be "best" (as collectively voted by IMDb users). Asking polltakers to chose the best from a list of top-rated episodes, makes more sense than asking polltakers to chose the best from a list of best episodes, IMHO.

I've only seen one of these episodes but the list is interesting and has a few entries that  surprised me.

Superman & Lois: It Went by So Fast (2024)

I left out The Grand Tour even if it fills the criteria, because the top rated episode is the only one released this year and the single episode of the sixth season, with a runtime of over two hours so it feels more like a TV special.

Two new series, Shrinking and Dragon Ball Daima managed the votes to enter the poll in the last few days.

A few stats.

Only five series repeat from last year poll confirming them as some of the most liked series there are:

One Piece: Wan pîsu

Bleach: Sennen Kessen-hen

Kimetsu no Yaiba

Boku no hîrô akademia

Heartstopper

Out of those five, Bleach and Heartstopper have been on the list three years in a row, while One Piece and Kimetsu no Yaiba have been in it four years in a row getting close to Shingeki no Kyojin six consecutive appearances record.

10 Tv series started in 2024, so they got into the top rated episodes on their first try, they are:

X-Men '97, Dandadan, The Penguin, Yarin Yokmus Gibi, Mou mou, Kaiju No. 8, Shogun, Doragon Bôru Daima, Ore dake Level Up na Ken and Are You Sure?!

Out of those 4 are mini series, so they won't return in the future:

The Penguin, Mou mou, Kaiju No. 8 and Are You Sure?!

Seven other series finished in 2024 so they also won't return in the future they are:

Arcane, Çarkifelek, Superman & Lois, Young Sheldon, Sôsô no Furîren, Bambaska Biri and Curb Your Enthusiasm

Çarkifelek that aired its first episode in 1975 becomes the oldest TV show making an appearance in these polls.

House of the Dragon returns after last appearing in the  2022 poll

Arcane and Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu  return after last appearing in the 2021 poll
