Tough to pick just one but I recently added the documentary Hoop Dreams and I'm pretty excited to see what all the buzz is about.

Ever since I saw that movie topping both Ebert and Siskel's Top 10 for 1994 (!) I wanted to watch it, and I missed it when it was on Netflix so it's a good call. For a while, it used to be Breaking Away, Crumb, Nashville, then The Sorrow and the Pity. I watched them all. I was looking for Tom Jones for an eternity and I just found the DVD today in the library.

Dammit, it must be Hoop Dreams too.

Right!? That alone sold me - it must be something special.

I decided to make a change in this poll idea. I only want to add already released movies. Do you have another pick?

Sorry to sound again like the rule-breaker but I liked that suggestion and I figured it was a nice opportunity to discuss our anticipated movies on a personal basis, so I think it would be a more interesting idea if it was about already released movies... or as you said "old".

I'm not sure about including movies that will be released this year or the next year, better make it a poll where we suggest one of these films we've heard many good things about and we want to see them for that reason. "Untitled Christopher Nolan Project" for instance is a rather neutral suggestion.

Maybe we should focus on old movie otherwise some will suggest The Irishman or QT's next film and then it won't be much interesting. It's only rational thinking. Voters will obviously vote in majority for the new movie because we tend to anticipate the new films more than the old ones.

I agree with you. I had to think about this, because it’s about the most anticipated movie. So, some people can’t choose their first pick. But I think you are right, an unreleased movie will win the poll. The poll will be more interesting with movies that are released.

Yep, especially since there's an "anticipated" poll every season so they'll get their chance to shine :)

You might need a different title, then. "Most Anticipated" seems to imply future releases.

Maybe: "IMDb Poll Board Movies with Highest Expectations"
What do you think?

Or maybe just "IMDb Poll Board Watchlist Movies".

I am not sure where this poll suggestion is at or going to be, so I listed both released and upcoming movies from my watch list.

Most Anticipated Released Watch list Movie: Your Name. (2016)
Most Anticipated Unreleased 2019 Movie:Once Upon a Time ... in Hollywood (2019)
Most Anticipated Unreleased 2020 Movie: Top Gun: Maverick (2020)

Being a big fan of the Coen brothers I feel ashamed of not seeing some of his classic ss like 'Barton Fink' or 'Miller's Crossing' but the movie I most want to see is 'Blood Simple' I have heard so many wonders of this movie and it is very interesting for me to see the debut of these two geniuses.

If you don't mind I like to keep the first one. This movie doesn't have a movie poster and I can't find a short description of the plot. I added short plots with each movie.

Yet, there's an image on the front page for the TV movie, Allerleirauh (2012).

"Maddened by grief over his late queen, king Tobald decides to wed their only daughter Lotte, the only female resembling her. Having failed to put him off by exorbitant demands, she puts on the unique cloak made of all fur types in the realm and flees over the border, carrying only her mother's three-party golden seduction kit and the king's miniaturized gifts while posing as a poor girl. Hunting, king Jacob finds her and orders her into court chef Mathis's scullery. He appreciates her zeal and culinary talents, helping him put the best dishes ever before the king, who is determined to find out about the gastronomic phenomenon, yet she makes that difficult."

This is to much information for a plot description. I think the voters will not read this. One or two lines is better.
I don't know how I can make this shorter (because I don't know if it fits with the movie). On internet I can't find a shorter plot.
