LIVE POLL: Face-Off: BAFTAs vs. Oscar

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences' Academy Awards, better known as The Oscars, and the British Academy of Film and Television Arts' EE BAFTA Film Awards, better known as the BAFTAs, are the world's top movie awards ceremonies. Each offers differing visions of which categories to recognize, who deserves those accolades, which films most merit distinction and what form that praise should take for the previous year's releases. Regardless, both prestigious events are closely followed by cinephiles everywhere during the movie industry's annual award season.  Which ceremony do you trust to do the best job of recognizing the most worthy people and films the industry has to offer annually? Get comprehensive coverage of the 2023 BAFTA Film Awards presented by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts and co-hosted by Richard E. Neither. I trust them to dismiss the acting in big budget movies, favor biopics, and be elitist.

Neither. Why award these people, who are so disgustingly overpaid, just for doing their job? Let's face it, there hasn't been very many good movies since the turn of the century, so what are they being awarded for?
