Poll Suggestion: Who was Right? Will Smith or Chris Rock?
Which of these two actors do you think was in the right? Was Chris Rock's joke going to far or should Will Smith have brushed it off.
I made a very similair post recently which received backlash as it was deemed insensitive. I've changed my suggestion and would like to make it clear that I in no way condone violence of any sort. This is just a debate about the actions of two individuals, not a defence of either.

The real question is not: who was right or wrong? Will Smith was wrong, Chris Rock didn't have a choice to make between right or wrong, he did what he was supposed to do, it was up to Will Smith to "do the right thing" and let it go.
Maybe you can simply ask: who do you side with? Because I'm sure even those who believe that Smith was wrong still feel more empathy toward him, human mind is not always rational you know.
