While in general I liked the ceremony, I was disappointed about only getting two songs performed in the ceremony. I get it that they were the two most popular songs, but it felt wrong and unfair for the other three. The Academy should not play favorites with any nominee and picking just a couple of nominees to be featured is insulting to the rest of the field. It deprived the artists from a chance to make themselves better known and it took away the chance of two not very well known films to be recognized by a wider audience.
