Poll Suggestion: The "Metteur en ordre"

Robert Bresson is one of the most unique and revered directors of all time. Jean-Luc Godard justly said of Au hasard Balthazar (1966): "It is the world in 1h30min." He was revered by filmmakers such as Bergman and Tarkovsky, he won prizes in almost all the great film festivals. And, with 7 films, he has more films than anyone else in Sight and Sound's Top 250.

Robert Bresson was unique because he had a strict conception of cinema. In fact, he wouldn't call it cinema, he wold call it "the cinematograph." When asked what was his profession he would answer: "metteur en ordre" because he despised the word "director" or "filmmaker". He even preferred the word "model" to "actor", and used, like other naturalistic directors non-professional actors. These aren't simply an eccentricity of a whimsical director. Robert Bresson wanted for cinema to distinct itself from other art forms (mainly theater) , and he put his money where his mouth was because he not only was a "metteur en ordre", he was also a film theoretician, and published a book called "Notes on the cinematograph."

Obviously, if I give all these details, it is because he isn't well known in USA. This poll's goal is to propose a ranking of Bresson's masterpieces made by IMDb fans for IMDb Fans.

So, if you have seen any, which is your favorite Robert Bresson film?
