There is no list associated with poll, I would either add a note that it is no longer an active poll suggestion, request it be closed, delete the thread yourself, or re-purpose the poll header for a new poll suggestion.

It only works some of the time, I think the option to delete is disabled after a couple months, or by some other measure. But, you can try it in the poll header to see if it works. It helps to eliminate duplicate poll suggestions, non-active poll suggestion and other threads that add clutter to the board, IMHO. FYI, It is the same feature as deleting an individual comment.
