I definitely agee Pixar was the creative and technical force behind those six films. I like the poll idea and think it should go live. But, I think you should re-word  the title, 'Pixar Before Disney' and this part:

"Long before the Mouse House officially acquired Pixar on January 24, 2006, the Emeryville studio forged cinematic history with six pioneering CGI features these early gems defined a new era of animation."

All six of these films released when Pixar and Walt Disney were separate companies were co-productions between the two and all six were distributed by Walt Disney's distribution arm, Buena Vista Pictures Distribution. Furthermore, all six open with a "Walt Disney Presents" title card, followed by "A Pixar Animation Studios Film" title card. So, it is hard to argue that Pixar made these films without Disney's assistance. In fact, the success with these six films is probably what led to them further cementing the relationship by merging together. I do think the six films were ground-breaking in terms of showing what the two companies could do working together.

I liken this phase of the Pixar-Disney relationship to a "just dating" phase, so maybe that would be a better spin on that early six-film period [1999-2005]. ie. 'Pixar & Disney Films When They Were Just Dating'
