Just a thought, I really like the idea and think you are off to a good start and have 15-20 strong options. It has a lot of potential to be a great poll suggestion due to the iconic imagery in television and movies with characters dressed in blue denim. There are thousands of options to choose from. But, I think you will need to put in some work researching and uploading images when they aren't available on IMDb already.
I would consider limiting the scope, based on the title. It seems like you could do a whole poll on characters wearing iconic denim jackets, or iconic denim vests, or iconic denim jeans or iconic bib denim overalls alone. Then, you could even further refine the pool by sex or media type, if you want. The strongest option to start is limited to just iconic blue denim bib overalls imagery from movies and TV. You should be more specific in your title, if that is the scope or whatever you decide. Plus, your list is almost entirely that option already. I also would lose the whole villains and heroes thing, IMHO it clouds the focus.
Plus, you have strong options that almost everyone will recognize in Jason Voorhees, Chucky, Leatherface, the Minions, Wreck-it-Ralph, B.A. Baracus, John Coffey, Michael the Angel, the factory worker from Modern Times, Molly Jensen from Ghost, the Practical Pig from the Three Little Pigs, Oliver Wendell Douglas from Green Acres, Dale from Tucker and Dale vs Evil, Mario from Super Mario Bros., Tom Joad from The Grapes of Wrath, John Coffey from The Green Mile, the Soggy Bottom Boys' Everett from O Brother, Where Art Thou? to name a few. There are some good to above average options among the rest that could be replaced with better options, as you find them. I also might consider limiting the pool to blue denim only, as you could do another poll featuring the 4-5 colored depictions you have listed already and other ones later, but it is up to you.
I would focus on characters that were either were known for wearing iconic bib denim overalls a lot or had a famous scene where their character was wearing iconic bib denim overalls @ the time. There are number of existing blogs and online lists dedicated to the topic. You should do more article or image searches using the term, blue denim bib overalls movie TV or another variation to get more options and make sure you didn't miss any must include options. Plus, use the image that really features those blue denim bib overalls the best.
The Stephen King blog below with pictures is interesting, as it goes into how he uses blue denim clothing for adding depth to characters in his books, and how this translates to movies and TV titles based on his writings.

It would be a good idea to add the title of the movie or series in the description besides the character name so they can be easily identified if the original image disappear.
While some are obvious, others like Michael, Donna, Ralph or Dale are not,

I really like this one. When I was a little kid, I loved wearing overalls and wore them through my twenties. I think when I was about eight, I had a pair of corduroy overalls that I would completely wear now. : )
