93 animated short films were eligible in the category for Best Animated Short Film by the Academy Awards. Members of the Short Films and Feature Animation Branch vote and selected 15 films to determine the shortlist. With the exception of the 5 films that were nominated, these are the 10 that were not nominated by the Academy.
