hey ben...i love movie scores so i'm really glad to see this poll...and that means the entire score and not just one track...
but may i make a suggestion...instead of 'epic of all time', maybe it should say '...of recent years...' or something to that effect...
with this list you leave out most of the classic scores of all time...those from from the 40's, 50's, and 60's that are templates for all the ones listed...just a thought...maybe even make a second poll featuring the true classics...one 'current'...one 'past'...
about the topic, i will go with "Gonna Fly Now" from Bill Conti. When i hear this score always give me goosebumps, the magic of this score is that when you hear you almost encarnate the persona "Rocky", which his the idea of the movie. Anyone can be "Rocky".
For me, it's one of the most epic score of all time.
Back in 2011 when movie was in production Hans Zimmercampaigned on UJAM in order to have a few thousands voices for different variations of The Chant. My horrendously broken (due to several dozen attempts) voice was used (at least) in one of the instances when prisoners of The Pit are chanting it.
Despite they never quite confirmed which voice samples were used in the movie (and it may took years to do that), I had a semi-confirmation. Back in the day adding something to IMDb often took weeks, but adding that to my filmography took way more then that as it required re-checking by Warner Bros. (who monitored the title way more closely during the production then they do now: my first, less specified attempt at adding myself to movie was taken down quickly). Seemingly, their recordings indeed said I am in the movie, in one of the scenes. It helps that exact name variant I use on IMDb was also the variant I signed my recording with (which also required signing an online form that I lend my voice to production).
Frankly, it was a dream came true because I wanted to be an extra in a Batman movie as far as 2008, envisioning crazy plans on how I can possbily end up being in The Dark Knight. :)

The Dark Knight Rises is close third, but as one of thousands of featured chanters in that movie I am a bit biased.
