Live Poll: Lupita Nyong'o at 40

My first thought was the tethered. I'm dying to see Little Monsters, because Miss Caroline looks like a bundle of joy. (Yes, the movie is on Hulu, and I have it bookmarked.) Of the characters she has portrayed I've seen, I liked all of them, yet certainly Maz Kanada the least, since I just overall was none too fond of the Star Wars sequel trilogy (including The Force Awakens) and the way that the whole sloppy thing was like a self-retconning missed opportunity that desecrated the supposed rules of hyperspace, the Force and the original author's vision, while trying to succeed where the prequel trilogy failed, thus failing in all other ways possible. Wow. I spent several words on that particular matter, despite other things concerning Lupita Nyong'o deserving more attention. Well, a lot of former Star Wars fans are like that. They just can't let it go, and anything that references their least favorite installment of the saga will invoke an uncomfortable memory, possibly eliciting them to go on a critical rant either against 1990s Lucas or 2010s Lucasfilm (Mickey Mouse's studio), maybe both.
