How up to date is this list? Not sure how quickly the top 250 TV list changes over a given month's period.
A lot of great series here.
Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex (2002–2005): The only TV series where I own the soundtracks (I have two separate CDs of OST music from the series and I think there is a third one ... but I won't pay any insane premium price wise since it's pretty far out of print).
Samurai Champloo (2004–2005)
Cowboy Bebop (1998–2003)
These two series are in my all time favorite television series. Perfect blend of lovable characters, great music, stunning animation and story.
One Punch Man (2015– ): This series brought me back to obsessing over anime television again. Got a Crunchyroll account immediately after watching this series.
Mushi-Shi (2005–2006)
Erased (2016– )
Lot to love here.

Its probably not the best, but my generation in Mexico grew with Sainto Seiya, so that makes it a favourite for me.

To be honest, I'm not interested in updating this suggestion anymore. I don't think it will become a poll.
And yes, I saw the new Anime entries on Top 250 in 2020. They're 8 actually (not 5). Three of them are from 2019. The other five("Your lie in April","Mob Psycho","GTO","Haikyuu" & "Gintama") are older ones which qualified later. And the three animes that got out from the list of 2018 are "Knights of the Zodiac","Parasyte: the Maxim" & "Dragon Ball Z Kai". I didn't left out any making this list.
