Poll Suggestion: Give them credit where credit is due?

Generally speaking, when watching an episode of a television series you really adore (not via broadcast television or cable network but on a streaming service, a DVR-recorded episode, DVD, or Blu-ray, etc...), do you watch the opening and/or closing credits?

Actually, the way I watch is part of option 2, I fast forward the credits (especially the ending) to make sure I don't miss any part of the series, but newer series have made it much easier by having Playback Markers (Chapter Markers).

@RezaKJoi You bring up an excellent option that I'm missing. I should have seen this as it's often something that happens in anime series.

After the credits, the episode continues with either a short clip (directly related or not to the episode; or a preview of the next episode; or some artwork or infographic involving the characters of the series.

I'll add this option to the list.

You got six options on the list. five=max. Maybe you can crop one of these options into two?

@Tsarstepan,

I cannot believe we have not already run this poll.

Yes. It's all about fully experiencing the show I love. I really adore the opening and/or end credits music. The production design and editing of the opening and/or end credits are often fascinating or enjoyable to watch.

I annoy the clean-up crew at theaters because I will not leave the theater until I've watched the film from the opening to closing seconds. I also generally do not rate a film unless I've watched every single second of a a film.

Like me, Dan. Since the MCU, I'm always in the movie hall until the end, also at home. But I also do it on non-MCU movies, when the music is such good, I want to hear it until end. Or when I suppose extra eastereggs, like I suppose in Scary Movie 6. But Scary Movie 6 is too less worth watching it in cinema. Cinema rises expensiv in times when we have not money over here.

I watch the opening credits.

A number of these shows have a great opening sequences (theme tune, visuals) eg. Daredevil, Westworld, even kitsch CW shows.

I don't watch end credits.

Edit: Option 1 works for me; since it says "and/or".

@NYVKE

I remember her as debater on issues and matters, but I can't even slightly remember her making a list or poll suggestion. Still can't distinguish matter from issue. For me it's the same, somehow. I guess one has to speak Englisch as mother tongue to better understand the subleties.

Okay. I may be conflating my memory of her with someone else.And yes, she spoke her mind ("debater of issues") ... I liked that about her ;)
