@Brijesh, I am not sure about BlackkKlansman being a 'Black' movie technically. But, I think it is an oddity that fits the spirit of the poll and I personally would have included it.

Title Matching "Black", Feature Film/TV Movie/Documentary/Video, Rating Count at least 25,000 (Sorted by Number of Votes Descending)

Well, it is a bizarre-looking something of a portmanteau. I kind of wish the theatrical release title would've been simply "Black Klansman", like the working title, yet that's basically how most people will wind up pronouncing it anyway.

@jeorj_euler,  I noticed the change from the working title too. As well as, how widely adopted the title, BlackkKlansman  was in countries  around the world. I wonder what the rationale was??? I can also guess, that maybe it was too revealing of the plot or to appeal to a wider audience. I actually like the change, whatever the reason.

I think it maybe to denot KKK (Ku Klux Klan) in the middle.

@Brijesh Wow, I never noticed that. Again, I think its unique that they blended the two words. But, embedding that theme and the turn of phase into the title was smart.

I assumed that everybody (from the United States at least) realized the bit about the acronym for Ku Klux Klan. Some people regularly refer to the organization as the K.K.K. Wow. So, it is interesting to see folks speculating about that part of the word roughly constituting a portmanteau. Never had it crossed my mind that there were folks who didn't quite pick up on this, so I guess the joke is on me. Yeah, "Blac Ku Klux Klansman" would be like an informal long title. I still feel displeasure with it, kind of like with the way "MSN" + "NBC" somehow becomes "MSNBC", whereby two identical adjoining letters become just one of the same.

@jeorj_euler I agree I think most people are aware of what the KKK stands for in the U.S.. I just didn't make the association, plus I don't think it stands out without the capitalized 'K' letters in the title.

 BlackkKlansman  vs BlacKKKlansman
