Even though it's still early in the voting, I'm shocked that it's a tie. I was expecting at least a 2 to 1 advantage towards Samurai Champloo. Given that Samurai Champloo has at least twice as many followers on MyAnimeList, a higher score on MyAnimeList, and more than twice the number of ratings on IMDb than Samurai X (which is a confusing localized title as both sites list it under Rurouni Kenshin).
