Soccer (Association Football) is a sport played between two teams of 11 players with a spherical ball. It was invented in England and it is the most popular sport in the world.

Which "football" is your favorite?

I must admit that I am no Soccer Fan, even though it is the most beloved sport in my country in general. And the other two sports are also not so mine. I just suggested Rugby, because it is very similar to the other two sports. I guess Rugby is played in South Afrika the most.

Rugby and American Football are slightly different from one another.

I'm no expert on the subject but I also thought they are almost the same.

By the way, I have never really understand why the NFL is called Football. I know there are kicks at some points in the game, but mostly they use their hands and not their feet.

They carry the ball in their hands, protect it with their arms, pass it with their hands, and you score touchdowns taking the ball with your hands, while taking a kick gives you a lot less points. Even the players that don't have the ball use their arms a lot more.

Good point. I have little knowledge, I googled the names of the "most iconic players"

never heard of any of them ;)

Maybe someone else can illuminate us on this matter. It is a popular sport here in Mexico, but I have never seen a whole match and only have a general understanding of the game.
