It's ok list. But there are so many good war films. Like DOCTOR ZHIVAGO, MASTER AND COMMANDER: THE FAR SIDE OF THE WORLD, WHERE EAGLES DARE, GALLIPOLI, GUNGA DIN,THE KILLING FIELDS, IVAN'S CHILDHOOD , THE BRIDGE ON THE RIVER KWAI.

So difficult because of the different wars and consequently different circumstances - but I'm leaning towards 'Killing Fields'. However, had 'Deer Hunter' been included, I hadn't hesitated.

If you only include movies with the "History" genre tag, then you should do the same for war.

Since your poll is not just about history, but war too. Isn't it?
