Live Poll: Afghan Films
From Wikipedia: When the Taliban took power in 1996, cinemas were attacked and many films were burnt. The Taliban forbade the viewing of television and films and cinemas were closed, either becoming tea shops or restaurants or falling into a state of disrepair. Habibullah Ali of Afghan Film hid thousands of films, buried underground or in hidden rooms, to prevent their destruction by the Taliban. Teardrops was the first post-Taliban film in 2002, and the first film since Oruj in 1995. On November 19, 2001, Bakhtar was the first cinema to re-open its doors, where thousands of people entered that day.
Rules: From 2002-2021
All Afghan films listed on IMDb: https://www.imdb.com/search/title/?countries=af
List: https://www.imdb.com/list/ls507470257/
PS: If it is possible I would like the poll to remain without question or maybe with a note telling the users they can vote for whatever. But, if a question is absolutely mandatory I will include one.

I think a question is mandatory, otherwise you're not polling anything and there's no indication about why anyone choose any option.
It would be good to have a poll dedicated to Afghanistan cinema, specially in these days when we all fear for its cultural heritage and its people.

Some of those titles are foreign productions that may have been filmed in Afghanistan or co-produced with Afghans. It may make it more interesting to also include other foreign-made films about Afghanistan. This may, of course, be another poll in addition to this one.

@cinephile,
Please add a discussion link to your list.
May I humbly suggest this for a question:
Which of these Afghan films best exemplifies film making in Afghanistan from 2002 to 2021?

It's a well-meaning poll but I would have asked the question differently "which film would you be most interested to watch?"
As simple as that...
I think it's fair to assume that a majority of voters haven't watched more than 1 or 2 of these films (especially when there are less than 500 votes) and by that I mean even hardcore cinephiles who're interested in foreign movies... so let's just ask a more open question.

I saw Kabullywood and think it was a real good movie.
It's about the artists life and the repression about arts.
It has a real background and shows up the life situation of
different people in Kabul. I even think it's slightly underrated.
