I consider myself to be a Bond-phile as I own about 80 Bond books and have read them all.  I have all of the oringinal Fleming novels in hardback and paperback and buy every new novel to be released.  I recognize that Fleming said that his vision of Bond was closer to David Niven (his personal selection to play Bond).  He would not have picked a lowlife like Craig to play his dapper and proper gentleman and anyone who says otherwise is unfamiliar with the original character.
