There are so many great films on this list that it's hard to choose. I'd probably go with '400 Blows,' although there are a couple of others that feel almost painful not to choose, as well.
Because there are no American films on the list, I was wondering if these are the best international art house movies chosen by Rotten Tomatoes, not art house and international movies? Even before I saw the list but just saw the title, I thought that it was strange that they would combine two separate categories in one list so I followed the link and yeah, how strange: it doesn't seem like they're combining two different categories and yet they chose that title. I can't figure out if it's a case of bad copyediting? 'Very good list, though.
