LIVE POLL: Most Anticipated Winter 2025 - 2026 Streaming Movie Release

Copying and pasting doesn't necessarily help. But perhaps you have a particular method, or different people have different experiences. In a few cases I seemed to be able to avoid the errors, but mostly not.

That seems to work for thread itself, but nothing seems to work when editing or updating the poll header itself.

Original streaming programming has a shorter release date announment window than for theatrical run movie releases. It is not like you don't see a bunch of movies in the pipeline for 2026, but you just don't know have a formal announcement for the dates these films are going to fill throughout the year until a month or two in advanced.  As of now, I only have announced release dates for less than a dozen and have poured over the release schedules to find even those. I might be able to get to 15 options, if I add some mid-major streamers to the pools.

PS: I left the streaming title, Winnie the Pooh: A Hundred Acre Christmas (2025) [Amazon Prime Video], that is releasing on Christmas Eve, out of the answer pool due to its low production value. I am also opting to not include Way of the Warrior Kid that inch lists with a suspect December 25, 2025 Apple + stream date.

VOD releases are released on the individual branded streaming service of various cable and satellite systems, like Comcast On Demand or Spectrum On Demand.

Alternatively they all available for direct streaming purchase from branded providers like, Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, PLEX and other movie rental sites.

Plus, Samuel Goldwyn Films offers it own streaming service as an add-on  purchase with Hulu, Disney+, MGM+ subscriptions and other better known streamers.

I expect the vast majority of people who watch this film to see this film to view it on-demand through one of these branded streaming services, rather than to watch it in a a physical movie theater. Since, it will only briefly be theaters for a few days and in a very limited number of theaters, before rolling out as VOD movie. Hence, its placement in the streaming answer pool. I used the "Samuel Goldwyn Films" moniker because it is the common thread for all these varied streaming distribution channels.

This type of distribution is a very common for films that lack mass appeal and may not have the legs for a wide release, but have some star power or cater to a certain niche and can optimize their profits through direct VOD sales, before ending up on a premium movie channel or subscription streaming service in a couple months.
