When the poll is about 'Film', it would be better to see a 'Title' list instead of a 'Name' list.

You could add the directors' names in the descriptions of each options.

I know but these movies don't have posters or images yet. Besides, the emphasis is on the directors... their reputation are the reason why these movies are highly anticipated.

Somebody is going for a homepager... cool idea ElM! :)

Using incomplete film lists (no images) would be pretty ugly and unprofessional looking.

I don't know, the title is quite loaded... doesn't sound too homepagey... but I'll cross my fingers and light a candle and pray St Pollingston :)

Tough Choice. M Night's "Glass,' Tarantino, Scorsese, Miyazaki. 'Good poll.

May I suggest one small edit?

I'm going to be a hipster and make my own suggestion: Bong Joon-Ho's Parasite. Either that or this one interesting-sounding project by Darren Aronofsky, but there's not a lot of info on that one yet.

Out of the current list, probably Avatar 2. Or maybe Dumbo.

Bong Joon Ho didn't direct a film before the 2000's, as arbitrary as it sounds, I generally consider the first theatrically released movie as the real debut to directors who later had a prolific career :)

I read the description the first time, but I re-checked and it seems like I was looking at his writer credits, not his director ones. X'D Whoops, sorry about that.

I'm mostly looking forward to Scorsese's 'The Irishman' but Tarantino's 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood' seem more interesting.

My thoughts exactly, Scorsese's 'The Irishman' but Tarantino's 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood' would be my top choices, 'The Irishman' seems like my type of film, but Tarantino is like your crazy uncle, you can't wait to see what he is going to do next!!

A lot of interesting movies there, but my choice is "Glass". I am a big fan of "Unbreakable", I really liked "Split" and I hope this one will be as great as these two.

ElMo - it would be cool if you could make the titles that have pages be hyperlinks pointing to them.

FYC:
Doug Liman - Chaos Walking - three films directed in the '90s
Jon Favreau - The Lion King - two TV movies directed in the '90s
Niki Caro - Mulan - one film directed in the '90s
Justin Lin - Fast & Furious 9 - one film directed in the '90s
Jacques Audiard - The Sisters Brothers - two films directed in the '90s
Kenneth Branagh - Artemis Fowl and Death on the Nile - one film directed in the '80s, six in the '90s
F. Gary Gray - Untitled 'Men In Black' Spin-Off - three films directed in the '90s
Edward James Olmos - The Devil Has a Name - one film directed in the '90s
Adam Shankman - What Men Want - one film directed in the '90s
DJ Caruso - G.I. Joe 3 - one film directed in the '90s
Bill Condon - The Good Liar - one film directed in the '80s, two in the '90s (and five TV movies)

Also, you have Danny Boyle on for Bond 25, but he also has Untitled Danny Boyle/Richard Curtis Project scheduled for 2019.

I added 4 or 5, I appreciate your help but it wasn't just about being a veteran director but a famous one, when you have QT, Spielberg, Ridley Scott or Scorsese, I don't expect DJ Caruso to be a strong rival, see what I mean? Also I didn't care much for the "untitled project", Woody Allen has certainly one but "Bond 25" that means something... oh well, I think I'm in one of these phases where I lost the motivation again and maybe in a few days, it'll get better.

Probably, I'd be the only one who vote for James Cameron

Elmo, will you add any of my suggestions?

OK, there's no rush since the poll has been done already, I'll do that during the day but I won't count the TV debuts, I generally consider the "real" debut to be the theatrically released movie.

Thanks for your suggestions.
