Live Poll: Justice To Go: Quick, Cheap, and Final

Intro:

In these sci-fi movies, the justice system has been "optimized" for efficiency. Courts are streamlined, due process is shortened, and decisions are made faster than ever. The goal is simple: reduce crime while saving time and resources. But when justice becomes a matter of cost-cutting, the line between law enforcement and oppression starts to blur. These stories explore futures where speed and savings come at a very high price. Which of these films best captures the dark side of "efficient justice"? After voting, feel free to join the discussion.

Suggestions:

Cheapened-justice-movies like in the examples. Please note:

The titles on the list also stand for the eventual whole franchises,

TV series, reboots and spin-offs connected to them.

@Breumaster FYI, it made think of this 80s movie.

Frustrated with a legal system gone haywire, a secret society of judges hires hitmen to snuff out criminals who escape courtroom justice - but one young judge questions the ethics of their vigilante system.

@urbanemovies

Hello urbanemovies,

Thanks for the movie recommendation. Somehow it slipped past me. I’ll have to watch it at some point. Unfortunately, it doesn’t quite fit the list, since the focus is on cost-saving justice. The justice system in that film seems to involve "more effort" rather than less, so it doesn’t really match the theme. Still, it’s always great to get recommendations like that. Thanks again for it. ;)

P.S.

Maybe I’ll do a poll about vigilantism in justice? :D
