Normally, I would vote for Ben-Hur (1959) as my favorite movie with a biblical theme. But, I think I will nominate The Jesus Film (1979) instead for my choice, because I find the story behind the movie interesting and I think it should be on your list.

Although, I don't think their numbers add up with 10 billion supposed viewings and only 2,500 IMDb votes. I expect a lot of those viewing happened in countries where IMDb is not popular, or to an audience that is not composed of IMDb users, still one would expect a higher number than 2,500 votes. The movie does have 8.6 million views on YouTube though. Let's just say, I am a non-believer, since even then there is still a big difference between millions and billions.
