The Fault in Our Stars. It's usually movies that don't try to jerk out tears that make me cry. Maybe an idea for another poll (Poll Board's unexpected/unusual crying moments when watching a movie?)

Okay... NarniaisAwesome, I know there's one, but it's quite hard to choose from a list, so I think I'll do that: I'll have a list, see if it coincides with other people and choose one, okay? Donnie Darko (2001) ("All around me are familiar faces, worn out places, worn out faces...") Unbreakable (2000) ("You know what the scariest thing is? To not know your place in this world. To not know why you're here... That's... That's just an awful feeling.") The Terminator (1984) ("The machines rose from the ashes of the nuclear fire. Their war to exterminate mankind had raged for decades, but the final battle would not be fought in the future. It would be fought here, in our present. Tonight...") Starman (1984) ("Tell me again, how to say goodbye.") Highlander (1986) ("Who waits forever anyway?") The Crow (1994) ("But now I know that sometimes if love proves real, two people were meant to be together, nothing can keep them apart") Kin-dza-dza! (1986) ("Don't joke that way, oxygen is 2% there.") Igla (1988) ("Blood type") In una notte di chiaro di luna (1989) (whole film, with that song being cherry on top) Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai (1999)

Easy, THE CHAMP (1979)I believed it was the saddest movie ever before I read thishttp://www.philly.com/philly/blogs/flickgrrl/Scientists-agree-The-Champ-is-the-saddest-movie-of-all-...I can't post the scene that might spoil the film but here's one 100% spoiler-free and that might give you a foretaste:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mkHpuVCHXqY

Hachi: A Dog's Tale (2009) for me; greatest movie you can just never re-visit.

Victoria (2015). I don't know another movie where an actor / actress plays so realistic a character mourning for someone's death. It is still unbelievable for me that movie shot in a single take, while keeping the Laia Costa performance as the apogee... She's simply the best.
