Live Poll: Franchises: 40th Anniversary in 2026

Hi Gabriel, The intro states that "these films redefined blockbusters" but several of them have very few votes, even as low as 15. I first wondered if it was a little bit like "all poodles are dogs but not all dogs are poodles" but not all blockbusters are franchises, of course, so I'm confused. Also, the intros for the 25th, the 30th, and the 40th anniversary lists are the same and it feels linked in with the statement about blockbusters. 

I suppose it might just be that I'm very tired or perhaps I'm missing something because I likely have knowledge gaps when it comes to both franchises and blockbusters but I'm very used to reading content that is even further outside of my areas of knowledge so my guess is that perhaps something's out of context?
